Today’s Academic Assist will be for Student Council (Mrs. Hastings’ room)

There will be a volleyball meeting for girls in grades 8-11 interested in playing next season. The meeting will be in room 150.

The varsity boys basketball team lost to Edon 39 to 29 in the District Semi-final.  The Blackbirds finish the season 18-5 with a sectional championship and a share of the BBC Championship.  The boys basketball team would like to thank our amazing student section for their awesome energy all year long.  Thank you!


Thursday -

The varsity boys basketball team will play Edon in the District Semi-final today at 6:00 at Bryan High School. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets or with cash at the gate. This will not be a split session. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Pettisville seating will be located on the north end of the gym behind the bench and across from the bench.  The student section will be behind the team bench. There will be a $3 charge for parking at Bryan High School.

Junior High FCA will meet TODAY in Mrs. Miller’s room at lunch.

NHS is running a fundraiser to benefit those affected by the California Wildfires. All students who bring in $1 tomorrow will be allowed to wear a hat.


Wednesday -

Tuesday -

Today is our ACT day. All students received an email from Mr. Wagner with their schedule for the morning hours today. If you are unsure of where you should go this morning, check with your first period teacher. After attendance, all students are dismissed to their first session locations.

Monday -

The varsity boys basketball team defeated North Central on Friday 31 to 18 in the sectional final. The boys team will now play Edon on Thursday, February 27, at Bryan High School, in the District Semi-final starting at 6:00 pm.  Doors will open at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.  Tickets may be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets or with cash at the gate. This is a split session.  The gym will be cleared after our game.

Wednesday, Feb. 26th is Club Photo Day. Please remember to ask your club advisors what to wear. Check the schedule posted in the hallway for more information. We will begin with Noteworthy at 8:20.

Results of the regional NW Ohio Science and Engineering Fair at NSCC on Saturday. Gavin Sifuentes received a superior rating and 2nd place in the HS environmental science division. He received 2 sponsored awards. He also was selected to submit his research to the Ohio Water Environment Federation Junior Water Prize competition. He participated in the super judging competition, placed 4th, and was selected from super judging for the following: Attend the Genius-Olympiad International Fair in Rochester, NY in June; Attend as a Student Observer to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Columbus, Ohio in May.
