Pettisville Schools will be having a district-wide Christmas Spirit Week December 18-22 this year. Come decked out in your holiday spirit every day of our final week leading up to break!

The Pettisville Music Department kicks off their Holiday Concerts tonight, with grades K-4 singing Christmas carols and other joyful melodies. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, with students being dropped off at their designated areas at 6:45 PM. See you tonight, Blackbirds!

REMINDER: Make plans to enjoy dinner before the Pettisville Boys Basketball game vs. Fayette TONIGHT! Saturday, Dec 2nd, from 5-6:00 PM. The menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad & cookies. Free Will Donation to support the Girls Basketball program. See you there!

This week, Mrs. Borton's 2nd-grade class read "Stone Soup" and compared stories that originated in the USA and China. Today, students brought ingredients to school and made their very own stone soup. The photos speak for themselves whether they liked it or not!

Today, the Kindergarten classes FOUND the Gingerbread Men who had escaped earlier this week. After making traps, questioning everyone they saw, and filing a missing persons report, Officer Schlosser was able to help locate the missing Gingerbread Men. Another year of FUN!

A little birdie told me a PES 6th Grade Teacher celebrates a milestone birthday today... the BIG 4-0! His daughter Grace had fun making a "vintage" photo collage for his class to see, and Mrs. Hinegardner sprinkled his classroom with glitter and flare! Happy 40th, Mr. Hastings!🥳

Overheard in the hallway today: Miss Barb telling one of our younger Blackbirds, "I love my job!"... Well, we love having you here, Miss Barb!
