This is a reminder that tomorrow's JV girls game with Delta will only be 2 quarters.
Yesterday the high school quiz team finished the Fulton County Tournament undefeated, making them 3-peat champions. They won the championship match against Wauseon with the most points scored by a Pettisville team ever in this format, 60-23. Congratulations to them.
There will only be a varsity girls basketball game tonight at Holgate. The varsity girls game will start at 6:30 PM. There will not be JV girls game due to illness for Pettisville.
There will be pre-sale tickets on sale for the Pettisville at Ayersville Boys JV & Varsity Basketball Games for this Saturday, February 1. Pre-sale tickets will be on sale Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in school office. Pre-sale ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door will be $6.
For Tuesday, January 24, at Holgate and for Saturday, Feb. 1, at Pettisville, the JV girls games will be 2 quarters. The varsity games on both of these days will start earlier than normal.
Art 3/4 students toured the Toledo Museum of Art. Some of the pictures show the exhibit called Between Light and Shadow, the artist uses geometric and organic designs.
There have been some changes this week to the athletic schedule. Here is the schedule for tonight, Thursday, January 23. In the varsity gym, Freshman Boys vs. Montpelier at 5:00 PM, followed by the 2 quarter JV Girls Game vs. Hilltop, and finishing with Varsity Girls Game vs. Hilltop. In the junior high gym, Junior High Boys vs. Holgate starting at 5:00 PM.

Kindergarten Registration. It is time to pre-register and test kindergartners for the coming year. There will be a Pre-registration and then the day of screening. Please refer to the school website for complete details and directions under the “News” subtitle.
The freshman boys basketball game for tonight with Hilltop has been cancelled. The game has been rescheduled for this Thursday, January 23, starting at 4:30 PM in the varsity gym.
The JV and varsity boys basketball games at Evergreen for tonight are cancelled. The games have been rescheduled for Monday, February 3.
The junior high girls and junior boys basketball games with North Central for Saturday, January 20, have been cancelled. The games have been rescheduled for Monday, January 20, starting at 5 00 pm.
All 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Youth Basketball for Saturday, January 18 has been cancelled.
Seniors in Spanish 4 prepared a food tasting for 2nd and 3rd grades. Students were offered a variety of tropical fruits and juices, as well as cactus. Everyone found at least one new thing they liked!
Tomorrow, Thursday, January 16, the Pettisville Boys Basketball Teams will host Stryker. This will be OHSAA Military Appreciation Night at Pettisville. Active members, veterans, and spouses of deceased veterans will be admitted free to the basketball game and invited to join the teams at center court during the National Anthem. The same event will take place on Friday, January 17, when the Pettisville Girls Basketball Teams travel to Stryker.

The JV girls game on Tuesday, January 14, will only be two quarters due to illness. The 2 quarter JV game will still begin at 6:00 PM. The varsity game will start earlier than normal.
Santa stopped in to visit students and staff at Pettisville today!
The Archbold and Pettisville Softball Programs would like to extend an invitation to all fans to their annual Hog Roast Dinner. This dinner will take place on Friday, December 20th prior to the boys’ basketball game between Archbold and Pettisville. Food will be served from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the Archbold High School cafeteria. Carry out will also be available. A free will donation is appreciated. The menu includes: All you can eat pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, applesauce, dessert, and a drink. Come and enjoy some delicious food before the game!
